Gambit, Wolverine, Jubilee, Nightcrawler, Beast, the lovely miss Storm and the rest of the Xmen are all property of Marvel Comics. I, sadly, am not making a dime off any of these excursions ((unless, of course, Marvel・ at all interested in hiring lil・ol・me [nudge, nudge... wink, wink]... I can cook! )) so don・ even bother suing me. Your lawyer・l cost a heckovalot more then I・ worth. Oh, and Kayo ((Cheyenne LeBeau)) is my own creation, so if you jip her, I・l have to kill you. Enjoy. -Melissa *** Original Character Profile: Name: Cheyenne LeBeau X-alias: Kayo Age: 14 Height: 4・ Human- form description: Red-on-black eyes (just think Gambit), Burgundy hair, Short, petite frame ((Gambit inevitably nicknames her Keebler)) and tends to have a gothic\punk sense of fashion. Lupine (werewolf)-form description: Red-on-black eyes, Mahogany-colored fur with black markings over her left eye, ears, and right arm. height and mass can vary, depending on form. Mutant Abilities: Lupine Theriomorphic capabilities ((Cheyenne is a Shifter, able to transform herself into a wide range of canine-like creatures, that may range from a wolf pup to a vicious werebeast.)) Heightened senses and tolerance to physical detriment, & Pyro-kinetic blasts. Hobbies: Art ((i.e. comic book illustration. Go figure)) sampling various areas of the extreme sports world (( thus far: snowboarding, & streetboarding)) and reaking havoc on anything anti-mutant. Likes: Comics, Rock & Techno music, goth\punk fashion, Testing her own physical endurance, pulling pranks, Jubilee, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Gambit ((of course)), Team Nexus, Sabretooth and Toad. There・ a new resident in Xavier・ School For Higher Learning, and the riotous, free-spirited girl・ got everyone・ favorite Xmen on their toes..... 14- year-old Cheyenne LeBeau literally ran into the Xmen・ lives less the a month beforehand, caught hacking through Xavier・ student files in the control room, having somehow slipped through the mansion・ security system without so much as a grin and a shrug about it. Cheyenne is the only survivor of a group of six mutant refugees ((which included her mother )) that had attempted the most recent jail-break from MacAbre Genetics・concentration camp - a hell-hole holding pen for Mutants and any other fitable "social reject". Determined to carry out her mother・ last request, The emotionally and physically marred, timid, deathly underweight child had fled from the Camp・ rural location in rural Nevada to the somewhat promising Xmansion・ front door in search of the father she・ never met- the mansion・ local Cajun thief, Remy LeBeau- Gambit. Less then four and a half weeks later, Cheyenne・ shy, broken personality is shed baring a radiant young girl who・ unstoppable love for her brand new life- though still shrouded with yet untouched emotional scars from a life・ worth of trauma- is an inspiration to the entire X team. She and Gambit are quick to form a strong bond- both determined to make up for years of unknowing of the other・ existence, and both struggling to deal with their past・ demons and losses- including one loss shared by each: Cheyenne・ mother and Gambit・ past lover, Alexandra DeVeaux. Questions soon arise among the rest of the Xmen, however. Some of the team are wary of their new unofficial "member"- viewing her as inexperienced, and much to young to take ranks on the team. A few Xmen・ belying prejudices against the girl・ father bring them to consider her as "just another thieving LeBeau.... The sooner she・ shipped off to the Massachusetts Academy, the better....." Yet Professor Xavier himself, along with a handful of others are convinced the girl is withholding unlimited potential as possibly one of the most lethal young mutants to date, not to mention a very valuable future member of the Xmen.
